For the last 20 years, Davin Greenwell, otherwise known as AFK, has been pushing the progressive sound. Davin has been heavily involved in the West Coast electronic music scene through many years of community and FM radio, club and events promotion, and now most prominently with Pacific Front Recordings (PFR)—a music label he operates with Justin Humber, aka Formulate. His performances, once under the name ‘ariz0na’, have been regarded as legendary by many.

Recording as AFK has seen Davin release many progressive tracks on his home label, Pacific Front Recordings; he has also ventured to remix for other labels as well. His collaborations with Anand Greenwell (Tiebreaker) and Dustin H (Seismic) have been very well received. Davin has been remixed by names such as Stefan Anion, Powerplant, Shiloh, Steve May, Dumb Dan, Jacob Todd, Dustin H, Jarius Miller, Fractal, Seed, Phokus, Desert Dwellers, Blake Jarrell, Matt Rowan, Jeff Devas, Influenza, Micah, Formulate, Jaytech, c79, His Boy Elroy and more. In addition to the Pacific Front releases, he has released music on Proton Music, collaborated with Dustin H for a release on Emote Music, done remix work for the Los Angeles label Ritual Sounds, and put a release out on Inaspace Recordings UK under the guise of Royal Assassin with Thor Kell (aka Fractal). Davin’s music has extended globally, and can be heard in forward-thinking clubs all over the world with support from DJs like Sasha and John Digweed, Armin Van Buuren, Dale Anderson, Anthony Pappa, Hybrid, Luke Chable, and many more.

Khan and Sufik have been co-conspirators on building dancefloors as event producers and DJs since their initial founding vision in 2003. They harness with intention the sound of their ancestor’s Middle Eastern Sufi mysticism, through the marriage of modern house music and captivating traditional Middle Eastern sounds to take dancers on a journey of transcendence. Over the years, they have produced dozens of outdoor music festivals, and have brought their unique sound to countless dance floors.

Co-producer of Sublime Events, Rowan has been evolving his dancefloor expression over the past several years. He is currently grooving to high vibration, heart-lifting, soul-filled dance music. His DJ sets explore deep house, techno, and many sub-genres in between. Always combined with organic instruments and vocals laced with soul and sophistication, Rowan’s mixing and programming create engaging and ecstatic performances wherever he plays.

Originally from Tehran and born into a family of artists, Shadi Jianfar aka ATASH has rhythm built into her soul. Love, Music, Humanity, Art, and Architecture combine to create the syllabus of her journey. For the past 14 years, ATASH has been a member of Beheshto Productions—a solid group of artists organizing music festivals in B.C. Her Beheshto family has deeply influenced her rebirth as ATASH. She has been behind the decks since 2008. From tribal progressive to hard techno to tribal trance, she delivers a journey to a higher state of vibration. Her fearless basslines blended within soul-searching melodies and tribal rhythms raise the energy of the dancefloor to its peak. Dark and pulsing, she weaves emotions deep into the texture of the moment and awakens the core of her audience.

:Sacred Centre Dance:
Creative director and founder of Sacred Centre Dance, Nath was born in Kav Lan Refugee Camp on the border of Thailand and Cambodia, and immigrated to Canada at the age of nine. His work as a writer, dancer, singer/songwriter, and model has been celebrated internationally. This multi-faceted artist has released two music albums, one book, and two dance instructional DVDs. In the past eight years, Nath has performed seven tours in 51 cities with more than 1000 performances. In February 2006, Nath was ordained as a Bikkhu Theravada Buddhist Monk at Wat Tuol Taong, Cambodia. In 2008, he was a featured instructor and performer at the International Belly Dance Conference of Canada. Alongside the legendary Farida Fahmy of Egypt, he was a judge at the World Belly Dance Championships hosted in Soeul, South Korea.

Rebecca is a newcomer to Victoria, recently moving from Calgary where she studied belly dance with Suzy. She began performing with Suzy and the Asianne Dance Troupe in 2007, and has danced at weddings, cultural showcases, and feature productions. Her love for Middle Eastern dance took her to Egypt, where she studied with classical Egyptian masters and immersed herself in the culture.
Since moving to Victoria, Rebecca has joined Sacred Centre Dance, and has performed locally while preparing for an upcoming performance in Fall 2018. A passionate dancer, her charming stage presence, and fun personality are sure to dazzle!
