Festival Spotlight: Tall Tree

TALL TREE III JUNE 21ST-24TH, 2012 (3DAYS), BROWNS MTN, PORT RENFREW

Something magic is happening over on the west coast. Kinda out of nowhere, what was a little festival in the back woods has gained all kinds of attention from those lucky enough to have attended – particularly in 2011. This initially humble event most definitely tossed its training wheels and dropped a series of massive shows onto a frenzied group of diverse west coast music lovers.

The inaugural Tall Tree Music Festival took place June 25th-26th, 2010 on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the picturesque town of Port Renfrew. The festival was amazingly positive and displayed the importance of having such events in the Southern Vancouver Island region. With a beautiful mixture of electronic and live bands, the Tall Tree Music Festival brought together people of all genres for a solid two days of dancing. Most importantly, all of those who attended proved to the Port Renfrew township that they were beyond capable of setting the right tone of respect.

In 2011 the event moved to the amazing property known as BROWNS MOUNTAIN and the festival was once again an incredibly positive experience for all in attendence. 2012!!! TALL TREE III!!! Once again people will gather upon BROWNS MOUNTAIN for an experience sure to be one of the highlights of the summer! No trees were harmed in the production of this festival. In fact a few were even saved.
