A Gathering of Stories: The Heart of the Feminine
Over the past centuries, much of our human societies have come under a system of domination, developed and controlled by uninitiated men. Men who have not been guided through a rite of passage into proper adulthood, where they recognize their place in the great dance of life.
Within this trance, what are considered “masculine qualities” (rationality, competition, power) have come to be the most highly prized, and rewarded. “Feminine qualities” such as collaboration, emotional intelligence (EQ) and compassion have been diminished as less worthy, and have denied the expression of different kinds of power and beauty that are potent medicine needed for these times.
July 2021 weaved storytellers, musicians and poets in response to the question: what power lies within the heart of the feminine?
