Starry Starry Skies second annual ‘Original Works’ showcase will focus on all original musical theater, written by our own creative team. It will include new songs from the musicals we showcased last year as well as three new musical arrivals.
The musicals we will be showcasing in this performance are: ‘Poof! You’re Single’, ‘I Stand Accused’, ‘Una & Mirren’, ‘In The First Degree’, ‘The Sirens’, and ‘Little Bird’. As an audience member, you get to vote and see what musical you would like to see us produce in 2021!
‘Poof! You’re Single’ is a modern tale of dating and romance surrounding four young women trying to figure out life and love after High school, featuring the songs ‘We Were Facebook Official’, ‘Are We On A Break?’, and ‘Did it Hurt?’
‘I Stand Accused’ takes place in the regency era, where a land owning family, that operates a farm, is uprooted when a wealthy cad comes on the scene. Featuring the songs ‘Grenholm’s Soliloquy’, ‘Whatever Comes My Way’, and ‘I Don’t Know the Words’.
‘Una & Mirren’ a musical set during the Scottish rebellion of King Edward’s reign, features the songs: ‘We Will Win Today’, ‘Here is the Answer’, and ‘Our Eternity’.
‘In the First Degree’ is a private detective story set in the late 1940s as a female PI becomes involved in solving the cases of several grisly murders. Featuring the songs: ‘1st Crime Scene’, ‘You’ll Feel Me’, and ‘Detective Theories’.
‘The Sirens’ is about a girl group in the 1990s making their way into stardom, and all the pitfalls they face along the way. Featuring the songs ‘The One I Love the Most’, ‘Superwoman’, and ‘Going Solo’.
The last musical selection will be produced in March of 2020 by the company. ‘Little Bird’ is set in 1969, as a young woman named Robin runs away from home and follows her dream of being a songwriter in London. Featuring the songs: ‘I Wish You Would’, ‘Robin’, and ‘I Can’t Bear’.
Available at the bar and Concession: $7 for wine, $2 concession from hot beverages to snacks.
VIP Table Deals (19+): The VIP table offers a unique experience with comfortable chairs, the best vantage point for watching the show, and a drink! For a single seater $30 you can get a concession drink or a glass of wine, For a couple $50 for either two concession drinks or glasses of wine, and for the full table of 6 people $150 and a bottle of wine for the table. Please Note: The VIP Experience also includes audience interaction with our MC, Cam Culham.
