Island Wubs is a bass music oriented theme camp at Otherworld, Vancouver Island’s regional burn. We are excited to be returning for our third year and showcasing a stellar lineup of the Islands’ finest bass focused selektas and producers.

Like all theme camps, Island Wubs is entirely volunteer driven. In order to deliver you the highest quality experience possible, we rely on grants from the festival, fundraising, and the hard work and performances of all our volunteers and organizers. Oscillate is a chance for you to come dance your ass off to some serious wubs in support of our stage. All of the profits will be directed towards levelling up next year’s Island Wubs experience.

Island Wubs strives to maintain a safe environment for all persons regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). If you report an incident of harassment you can expect to be listened to and taken seriously. We will take appropriate action in response depending on the scale and severity of the incident, including discussing the behaviour with the perpetrator and ejecting them from the event if necessary.

To dance within someone’s space requires an invitation and regularly reestablished consent. It is revocable at any time without an explanation, and must be given from a suitably sober state of mind.
