The mad-musical scientist known as saQi is a classically trained composer, producer and trumpet player. Drawing his name from the Sufi title for a mystic muse, saQi creates deep and funky dance floor jams that rock the party yet still maintain a grace and musical sophistication to engage the listener. saQi is a member of The illustrious Polish Ambassador’s new label Jumpsuit Records.

Rowan has been DJing and promoting events in BC for over a decade sharing the stage with mainstay festival acts like Adham Shaikh, Gaudi, Liquid Stranger, Ganga Giri, Delhi 2 Dublin, Bluetech, Saqi, Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Drumspyder, Random Rab and more. He has performed at events and festivals all over the pacific northwest, including Shambhala, Oregon Eclipse (2017), Diversity, Fairies & Fools, Atmosphere, Entheos and toured across North America with his wife Alice, djing live sets offering transformative Bellyfit® workshops.
Rowan’s creates sonic journeys layered with exotic textures, hypnotic rhythms and soaring, soulful melodies. This is what he is lovingly pulled towards, again and again.

Hailing from the wild West Coast forests of BC, this highly adapted musician is pushing his own brand of sound to greater heights. With 4+ years of classical jazz training, 7 years of dropping bombs on the dance floor, and over 5 years of original production, Anchor Hill is a unique blend of phat, broken mid-tempo beats, flowing melodies, glitchy edits and organic samples. His rich Elven styles range from Eastern-infused downtempo and trip-hop to psychedelic crunk and funky tribal glitch-hop.

Devoted to the path of music & movement, rhythm & motion this dynamic duo co-creates sound tapestries ranging from deep melodic beats to vocally infused tribal grooves. With Ali on the decks and Chris adding layers of percussion and didgeridoo, this live+electronic music fusion inspires connection between the dancers and the music.
