We stand in solidarity with Indigenous Land defenders fighting for Indigenous rights and our collective survival on this planet. This work is a labour of love and it comes with a price. We are making very real sacrifices so that we can all be better ancestors and build a better world.

This is healing work, and to ensure we continue in solidarity we must build self and community care into this movement. We must build sustainability into this movement. To do that, we have a number of community care services available for you!

Sundays March 1 and 8th we are meeting at 4:00 – 6:30 pm at Sunset Labs, 400 Herald St.

1) Meet people, build relationships, learn new skills, and decompress
2) Counselling Services are available by request. Please call or text Arielle @ 250-858-2080 for access to this list!
3) Buddy System
4) Training & More!

Do you have an idea of how to build community support into the Indigenous solidarity movement? Feel free to share with us by posting on this event or by coming to a community care session in person on Sunday! Bring a snack to share if you wish!

Note: The organizers of these community care events are non-indigenous, white, able bodied settlers. Folks of all identities are welcome in this space. If you are BIPOC and would like to organize or facilitate please text 250-858-2080 to join the team!
