About Bonnie Davison

Bonnie started her career as a music therapist, working with hearing impaired children who were learning to speak, sparking her interest in how children learn to read and write. Then, becoming a classroom and learning resource teacher and meeting her mentor Dr. Fleurette Sweeney she was inspired to learn about and share Singing English Song-Games & Techniques. Bonnie has been training educators across Canada and throughout South East Asia for the past 12 years to create joyful, inclusive classroom communities while building strong literacy foundations.

As an avid outdoorswoman being outside and connecting to nature is another passion of Bonnie’s. Bonnie became certified by Forest School Canada as a Forest School Practitioner and seven years ago started the Victoria Nature School Society. Bonnie has recently received her Permaculture Design Certification as well as her Permaculture Teacher Training Certification and loves learning about how to live more sustainably and regeneratively through lessons from nature. Bonnie has spent the last 7 years training educators across Canada on how to get students outside to connect with nature, through play, growing food, and exploring different ecosystems.
