Fresh Mix: Beatfarmer – Sunset Mix

2012 has been a busy year for beatfarmer, beginning in the spring with a trip to Chengdu, China to prepare for the Cave to Sky multimedia show with American Painter, Will Kerr. Beatfarmer produced a 6 hour soundtrack for the show which was distilled into a 7 track album, available on bandcamp.

Other releases this year included a rmix CD with Vancouver’s Cannabnoid on Red Robot Records, beatfarmer’s Carpet Breaker remix made it on to Adham Shaikh’s Refractions CD, and this winter, Mantra, a new full length cd will be released on Ovnimoon Records. The summer festival season included sets of all original music at Inshala in Alberta, Entheos, Diversity and Karma Festivals in BC. With the return of fall, beatfarmer has moved back inside to focus on production for next year. There is lots of new music in the works, some of the new tracks are starting to pop up on soundcloud
