For 3 years Murge has been teaching DJ lessons on Vancouver Island and is the founder of the first ever DJ School in Victoria B.C. Now we brings his experience to bear in an amazing & detailed 6 week workshop along with his ‘good amigos’ and fellow Victoria music-makers Chris Longshanks and Tyger Dhula. Murge is an accomplished Dj and producer who has won DJ Battles, music video awards and has done remixes, original production and collaborations with the likes of Tegan & Sara, Swollen Members, DJ Vadim as well as releasing several of his own original productions on worldwide distributed vinyl and CD releases.

Several of his songs have been featured on blogs worldwide including a few being posted on Diplo’s Mad Decent website. His students have gone on to maintain residencies in Victoria’s hottest nightclubs and his youngest student of 13 years old has already played at Jumpship and was part of the Wolf Sheep’s summer DJ lineup in their Art Gallery playing alongside Victoria’s finest DJ’s. He continues to maintain a very busy schedule as a DJ both in the Victoria scene and he’s travelled from Montreal to Los Angeles playing and collaborating along the way. His vast taste in music and ability to rock a wide variety of crowds with his technical skills allows him to seamlessly blend between current favorites and classics.
