The Dream Cab ia a Victoria based performance arts collective. The Dream Cab is short for Dream Cabaret, an interwoven creation of original performative works, a vehicle for the avant-garde. Think of it as an equation. Carte blanche + multidiscplinary artists = cultural innovation.

We proved the power of this equation on Feb. 15, 2011 when over 40 local collaborators sold out the Macpherson Playhouse, astonishing ourselves and over 600 ecstatic theatre goers. We created new lovers of dance & performance arts & everyone left wanting more. So here is your opportunity we are ready to create for you but need your support in building the dream.

Who we are

Our creative community is a collection of professional and emerging artists of all ages, in the first dream cab our youngest performer was still in diapers. For several people it was their first professional level show. We had mothers and children working together, partners, childhood friends, husbands and wives collaborating beyond the often mundane experience of the daily grind. As well, we were a bunch of strangers who over the course of 6 months individually and collectively expanded our craft, discovered new friendships and created new artistic relationships that continue to flourish. Those who built the Dream are eager to start anew for The Dream Cab Noº2.
