Festival Spotlight: Motion Notion

 
Motion Notion is an exploration of sound, art, nature and the infinite. The name MOTION NOTION should be understood to mean, ‘The Movement Idea’ and the conceptual claim by the festival that ‘Movement Is Existence’. The festival’s core beginnings and beliefs may change (as things do) but we are pretty darn sure that every human, planet, solar system, and galaxy is in continuous flux.

Motion Notion 2012 will happen at a spectacular location in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The historic BEAVERFOOT LODGE and surrounding festival grounds is located in a secluded valley near Golden, British Columbia. Beaverfoot is one of North America’s best festival venues- it features hundreds of acres of green pastures, untouched forests, immense mountains and is bordered by a clear mountain river!
