Gallery: BBI’s Battleship

If you’ve been around the Island music scene for awhile you are pretty familiar with Breakbeat Island, a group with deep roots here having played a major roll in the establishment and growth of our local dance culture. Therefore it makes total sense than when these talented veterans come together for a rare BBI reunion, the dance floor fills with those of us who were there when it started – and those of us who get excited by stories & reputations 😉

Though we hear whispers of a potential significant BBI return in future months, we sit greatly fulfilled of all needs breakbeat – and for now, offer up this fun gallery of our reunion event – once again captured by our resident superlens Evan Boyd. Enjoy!
