This month, we were honoured to host the fourth installation of Living the New Economy (LNE), captivating minds and sparking conversations about a new economic reality. Led by the brilliant community visionary, Nicole Moen, this week-long event once again brought together progressive individuals, institutions, and creators committed to creating abundance, equality, and sustainability for all.

Under the guidance of project founder Nicole Moen, Living the New Economy had grown from strength to strength. Each year, this event pushed the boundaries, and the 2014 edition was no exception. It was a vibrant week together here at Sunset Labs, and participants experienced a fun and immersive exploration of new economy practices, principles, and possibilities.

Integration: Weaving a Beautiful World

This year’s theme, “Integration,” underscored the importance of weaving together the facets of the new economy to form a visionary whole—or as Charles Eisenstein would say, “the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.” The new economy was still an emerging paradigm, and LNE Global Live 2014 aimed to accelerate its progress by encouraging individuals to integrate its principles into their lives and communities.
