Spotlight on Art: Mugwort Lightboxes

When we renovated Sunset Room in October, there were a few wall spaces we just weren’t sure what we were going to do with. One in particular really called out for something special. With our “artist-in-residence” Kristin Urbanheart Grant engaged in other parts of the project, we reached out to our friend Mugwort in Vancouver to explore possibilites.

Over the coming months we sourced & purchased our two favorite ultra-hi-res Ankor Wat images and sent them to Mugwort for digital beautification! When the final art came back to us, we couldn’t get over how stunning they were. We then built 2 beautiful 4′ lightboxes and with some brilliant technical wizardry from our friends at monkeycinteractive.com they were ready to go!
