Sunset Labs Welcomes Khan

We are super excited to welcome Khan to the Sunset Labs team! Since arriving in Victoria in 2006, brother Khan has been a rather active fella! With over 100 shows to his credit since that time (and somewhere well in excess of 200 overall) he has made a huge impact on our community. Khan is a talented musician, a dedicated family man, an accomplished tech wizard and a brilliant fella to hang with.

His recent appearances at Sunset Room have included our new Labyrinth Experience nights as well as the epic December visit of Bird of Prey – and he consistently delivers an inspired performance from his rather broad music collection. By the end of 2012 he and his collection will make festival appearances at Inshala, Karma & Kootenanay – on the heels of 2011 sets at Shambhala, Entheos & Inshala! Truly a rather glorious & growing list of major festival appearances!

Next up? Khan is already stoked for Shambhala 2013 (he must have an inside track!) as well as his ongoing development as a teacher in various aspects of performance including Ableton Live for DJs – stay tuned for workshop dates in the near future!
