Got big dreams?
When Lilith Chameleon arrived back to Victoria in October you could almost FEEL the tectonic plates shifting beneath our city. Lilith moved to Victoria when she was 5 years old, lived here until she was 21, and has spent the last 17 years working as a professional freelance writer, housesitter & globetrotting promoter living in 11 countries and all over Canada and the US. Now she’s back, and if you’ve noticed some new energies & activities going on, it’s far from coincidental!
As the end of the year approached, Lilith found our friends at The Well – and saw an opportunity for a symbiotic creation. In December, the Dream CO store was born, featuring locally produced, hand-crafted festival apparel & incredible objects of art. Dream CO spaces feature a Skills School with circus arts, sound school, visual and tech workshops, recycled sewing classes, dread making workshops, theatrics, Super Heroes Jedi Ninja school and more. Dream CO also does event planning and talent bookings, both locally and internationally. They can be found at 817 Fort St, above The Well (821 Fort St), which Dream CO is a collective part of and within which they produce Festival Styles: A Winter Weekly Market at The Well.
When asked to describe Dream CO, Lilith says “The Dream Collective is a global thang, it’s all of you who dream of supporting yourself through your artforms and search for ways to do that… who journey epic distances to rock out to music that transforms you and people who change your life for the better. Burning Man stylez? You bet!”
To quickly get a sense of what they’re up to, take a look at their weekly offerings!:

Next up for the ever-active chameleon? Funked Up Loving Feb25th, a 2 floor 2 soundstage funked up fest with circus performers, locally produced fashion show and also hosting the Sew Sisters from Courtenay. Want to save a few bucks? Dream CO has your back – bring a bag of fruit for the new juice bar and get in for $10 all night.
If you’re hanging out reading Sunset’s news, we already know you love music & art & cool people doing cool things – so be sure to head over to Dream CO & The Well and get involved – this is a rare community space that warrants our attention & support! Once you discover it and all their offerings, I’m sure the support part will flow quite naturally.

Hey I would be interested in coming to the Thursdays Circus School from 7:30-9:30. I am 15 and have some experiences in Circus. It would be great if I would hear from you!!!
Johanna
Awesome! What kind of Circus experience have you?
I have forwarded your interest to Lilith at DreamCO – she will be in touch shortly!
I used to be in a children circus for one year. I can juggle ride the unicycle, a little bit slackline, walk on a big ball and rola bola and I am open to learn lot of new things too!!!
