Israel & Palestine: The No State Solution
Recently we reached out to you, our community, seeking an opportunity to support a project which might contribute, in some small way, to peace in the east. A few great ideas came out of that invitation, but one jumped out and was ready to be realized.
It was a powerful experience to host The No State Solution, an event brought together by our friends at Camas Books & Infoshop.

The No State Solution was a complex, harmonious dialogue with Palestinian sociologist Mohammed Bamyeh and Israeli political scientist Uri Gordon, exploring through an anarchist lens the systemic oppression and displacement of Palestinian people and the unequal cycle of deadly violence that continues to consume the lives of Israelis and Palestinians.

“How can an anarchist critique of this on-going crisis rooted in a vision of mutual binational aspirations outside of the framework of Jewish or Palestinian statehood support peaceful coexistence, collective liberation and equality for Jews and Palestinians?”
